Where are Ukrainians who are now in Poland going?

Today, our shift at WCK packed up food bags for several small family groups being transported across Europe. These are multi-day bus (van?) trips to a place they know by name but don’t know anyone there. One exception was one person had extended family in the destination city, and she was very excited to be assigned a place where she knew someone. Another young woman, maybe early 20’s, was traveling with her sister and grandmother to Belgium. Her mother was staying in Ukraine. Always, we have to read between the lines bc there are only so many questions one can ask.

I started this in the morning. Now after our 12-hour shift, I’m way too tired to write more tonight. More tomorrow.
